On the ground before sunrise for Chincoteague's annual Pony Swim, I helped capture the herd's journey across the channel and the atmosphere surrounding this iconic Eastern Shore tradition. Working with Madeline Overturf and Brandon Ferguson, we shot throughout the morning and turned the piece the same day, editing from a makeshift hotel conference room setup to make the evening newscast.
For the 50th anniversary of the fall of Saigon, I worked with Matt Pencek on Black April coverage, helping shape the visual storytelling for the piece.
A compelling look at astronaut Ted Freeman's legacy and a lesser-known chapter of America's space program. I worked as photographer and editor alongside broadcast journalist Matt Pencek, helping capture and shape the story from the field through the final edit.

We were given just a few minutes with Senator Tom Carper on his final day in office, making every moment of the shoot count. I worked with CoastTV anchor and video journalist Kristina DeRobertis to capture the interview and shape a visual farewell reflecting on his career and service.
Shot in just 30 minutes, this piece gave me a chance to be creative with interview composition and B-roll. I used foreground elements, including an Eagles helmet, to add depth and visual context to the interview. I handled photography and worked with Charlie Sokaitis, who wrote the story.
Dan and Carol Perrotta of Milton were surprised to discover a fourth bathroom listed on their property reassessment, except it doesn't exist. I worked as photographer and editor alongside journalist Mallory Metzner and digital content manager Zoe Stayman to tell the story and bring a complicated local issue down to a personal, relatable level.
We cover this annual mock trial every year, but restrictions prevent us from shooting video during the trial itself - only still photography is allowed. That limitation creates an interesting storytelling challenge. How do you make a visually engaging television piece without video of the main event? This was my solution.
One of the things I value about working in local media is the opportunity to get to know the community and tell stories that matter to the people who live here. This piece was created for Race for Space, a community effort to raise funds to purchase Lewes' Fourth Street Forest and protect it through a conservation easement.
This podcast promo features Patrick Duffy, "The Swap King," and his work in sustainable fashion. I edited the piece to distill a longer conversation into a concise, engaging tease, using pacing, sound, and carefully selected moments to draw viewers into the full story.
I edited this podcast promo featuring Hollywood voice actor and producer Pete Sepenuk, shaping the conversation into a fast-paced tease built around personality and story. The edit uses carefully chosen moments, pacing, music, and sound to create energy and keep viewers watching.
I edited this podcast promo featuring wildlife conservationist Simon Naylor, using his story and the natural imagery surrounding his work to build an emotional, visually driven tease. The goal was to capture both his commitment and the stakes of the work in a short compelling promo.
These pieces come from earlier chapters of my career and represent the foundation of the work I still do today. I produced and edited each of them. While production styles and technology evolve, the fundamentals of storytelling remain.
A self-promotional piece built in After Effects to demonstrate motion graphics and editing skills.
An independent pitch reel built from scratch using stock footage and After Effects. Conceived as a modern family style sizzle, it shows concepting, pacing, music selection, motion design, and end-to-end editing.
